Q: What records can I play on an Amberola?

A:  Amberola phonographs utilize a heavy diamond tipped reproducer to reproduce sound.  You must only play
celluloid 4-minute records on your Amberola.  These include the Edison Blue Amberols, black celluloid 4-minute US Everlasting,
Lakeside, and Columbia Indestructible.

The black wax Edison Amberol records (usually found in green/gold boxes) MUST NOT BE PLAYED ON DIAMOND STYLUS
MACHINES because the sheer weight of the diamond stylus will IMMEDIATLY ruin the record, beyond any chance of repair.
They can only be played with a sapphire stylus utilizing an Edison Model H, K, L, S, O, and R reproducer.
